Are you passionate about improving the lives of people with traumatic brain injury?

The MRFF’s Traumatic Brain Injury Mission is providing $50 million over 10 years to improve the lives of patients with traumatic brain injury.

The Traumatic Brain Injury Mission EAP will advise the Australian Government on the mission’s priorities for investment by reviewing the existing Roadmap and Implementation Plan. This review will make sure these strategic documents take into account emerging evidence, and are consistent with the Government’s responses to the:

Senate Inquiry into concussions and repeated head trauma in contact sport
Inquiry into family, domestic and sexual violence.
The review will also consider:

recent policy frameworks such as the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032
relevant action plans such as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Action Plan 2023–2025.
To meet its objectives, EAP members will have diverse skills and backgrounds. We would like to hear from:

researchers, clinicians, First Nations people and consumer representatives with experience in a range of areas related to traumatic brain injury research. This includes traumatic brain injury induced by sport, or family and domestic violence
people involved in the translation of traumatic brain injury research into practice or policy.
Applications close 12 February 2024.
